Make Music with Light
Our spectacular Laser Harp provides an interactive experience that won't be easily forgotten! An array of lasers are mounted in a beautiful arch structure that can be fabricated in a variety of colors. When a laser beam is interrupted, a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) signal is generated that can trigger any one of hundreds of musical instruments or sound effects. The sturdy base structure contains our custom designed laser detector modules and all of the sound making equipment. Just like other Science Kinetics exhibits, we can work with you to build a custom case or integrate this into an already existing structure. Are you a maker or DIYer? Do you have a wild idea to implement this technology? We can provide a kit with all the necessary electronics to create your own laser harp environment.
